Hi John,
Why aren’t politicians talking about Medicare for All in the middle of a pandemic?
People are going bankrupt and becoming homeless because of Covid medical bills — now would be a good time for Democrats to pass Medicare for All. Instead Democrats are arguing about process.
Democratic leaders refuse to even vote on Medicare for All, but last December’s Covid relief bill included money for Covid funerals and easily passed both chambers of Congress.
This is essentially Congress funding death and not life. It’s ghoulish.
We urgently need Medicare for All. I served on the board of an organization fighting for single-payer healthcare in Washington State and appeared in a Medicare for All documentary. I’m committed to this fight, but I need your help to take this to Congress. In Congress, I’ll combine my elected position with direct action to fight for Medicare for All, because simply asking nicely and saying “please” isn’t working.

One-third of Covid deaths have been due to lack of healthcare. That’s roughly 265,000 people. This is unconscionable, and we need Medicare for All. If you can afford to, please chip in to help me fight for that in Congress:
