I never thought I would get involved in politics — and even in 2017, when I realized I would have to forge my own path in politics to get the results my community needed, I never imagined I would be the candidate.

I’m an everyday Nebraskan. I was raised by a single mom here in Omaha, I worked my way through college, and I was the first person in my family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree. I know what it’s like to work hard every single day — that’s why I’m ready to work every day for the people of Nebraska’s Second Congressional District. I know what the people of NE-02 need because I am a lifelong constituent of the district. I know that everyday folks want affordable and accessible health care, we want coronavirus relief measures, and we want good jobs and schools. I am intimately familiar with the frustrations families and workers here in Nebraska and across the country face, because I face them too: rising gas prices, job insecurity, crumbling infrastructure, and more. And because I face these issues myself, you can bet I will never stop working to address them.
