John -- Trump Republicans are making moves in what appears to be an effort to overturn the 2024 presidential election results and ensure a right-wing victory, if necessary.

A new report by the Brennan Center says Republicans are engaging in an “active effort to recruit rogue election officials to sabotage elections across the country” who would be sympathetic to unsubstantiated legal challenges to the 2024 presidential election results.

Right-wingers have studied how their attempted coup failed after the 2020 election and are perfecting a playbook to steal an election next time.

CNN caught wind of their plans as well, pointing out how there’s “a new generation of election officials who don't believe in the results of the last presidential election” in critical swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Senate Majority Leader Schumer said he plans to make a voting rights bill a priority in the next few weeks. This would provide states with time to implement the bill’s pro-voter and anti-gerrymandering provisions before the midterm and presidential elections!

The Freedom to Vote Act must become the law of the land. It’s one of the surest ways to stop threats to our elections, prevent Republicans from overturning fair elections, and safeguard our electoral process.
