Dear friend --

Last month, President Biden extended the student loan moratorium to May. This is a big deal, and it’s a direct result of the pressure we’ve put on the administration over the past year.

Representatives writing letters and millions of Americans raising their voices in the streets and on social media sent a clear message that we need real action on student debt now.

But the extended moratorium is not enough. I’m proud to join my colleagues in advocating for canceling up to $50,000 in debt for all borrowers. Can I count on you to contribute today to signal that you’re ready to keep up the pressure until we get real results? [[link removed]]

Student debt has an undeniable impact on working communities and communities of color -- and on our economy. We know that canceling it would be a huge step towards closing the racial wealth gap and supporting students who do not benefit from generational wealth.

Will you join me in advocating for this crucial measure? [[link removed]]

Let’s keep up the pressure!

Thanks,
Nydia
