We need to enshrine the freedom to vote for ALL Americans. Young people, people of color, and disabled people will all benefit from having the right to vote signed into law before Trump and his allies can alter the rules state by state.
Especially as we come upon the one-year anniversary of the January 6th attack on our Capitol, we need to protect our freedoms. Republicans in states like Texas and Georgia have already done whatever they can to slash access to the ballot box – and they’re not done yet.
We can’t imagine what this country would look like without democracy – it’s at the center of all we do and who we are as a nation.
