Stress is keeping this Mum awake at night No Images? Click here Jacqui is pregnant with triplets and due in January. She just found out her babies must be delivered this week to avoid complications. She has nothing ready at home. Please read on so I can tell you why. Hi The news of triplets was very surprising for Jacqui and her family because they already have three children.
Their eldest is 18 and currently sitting her final high school exams. Jacqui knows that she should be happy and grateful to have another child on the way but she’s really worried about the future. They would have struggled to buy all the essentials for one baby, let alone three. Jacqui met with the social workers at hospital to ask if anyone could possibly help her. Three babies means three cots, three car restraints and a triple pram. Not only that, a large supply of clothing and bedding. Nappies and wipes. Breast pumps and bottles and lots of other little things. She would need help with all this to bring her babies home safely from hospital. It’s an easy process and I know how much it will mean. It’s a great opportunity for you to show and tell a family in need just how much you care. December is the busiest time of year for Geelong Mums. The orders keep coming and our waiting list gets longer. Together with our colleagues at St Kilda Mums and Eureka Mums, we have more than 5,000 babies and children to support in Victoria over the next three months. Best wishes, Julia Roache PS. If you would prefer to make a quick donation on your phone, please text Geelong Mums to 0480 016 710. PPS. When you donate, you can also tick a box if the donation is in lieu of a Christmas gift. We will send you a printable Christmas Card designed by artist Madeleine Stamer. It’s black and white so you (or your kids) can colour it in. It's a great gift for someone special and there is also an option for a gift certificate for birthdays or other occasions. Your privacy is important to us. Please see our privacy policy. |
