The Actors Fund

Dear Actors Fund Friends,

We wish all of you a safe and happy start to the new year. We realize that 2022 is starting with more uncertainty than we had hoped, but we find optimism in the form of supporters like you. It's because of your continued enthusiasm that a life in the arts can adapt and thrive during difficult times.

Enjoy this week's online events, and we hope to see you soon.

Tilted Keyboard Studios

Tilted Keyboard Studios (TKS) proudly presents a cover video of “Wait for Me” from the hit musical Hadestown. This project boasts about 200 people from five continents, a large array of age ranges, personal backgrounds, and a scale of experience spanning from "never performed in front of anyone" to Tony-nominated actors. TKS is also lucky to have partnered with Michael Merritt and Brave Hearts For Broadway, welcoming frontline workers who wanted to show their love for theater as well.

The message of this song is that even when the odds are against us, we can work together to achieve a brighter tomorrow. Donations to The Actors Fund are encouraged.

We thank author Jason Van Woeart for donating 25% of his royalties from his book The Adventures of Marina Cat: Where Does That Boat Go? to The Actors Fund. The story is about stepping out of one's comfort zone and helping others when they are in need.

Marina Cat is a cat that lives at a boat marina outside of New York City. One morning, Marina Cat leaps onto a mysterious boat; little does she know that the magical destination ahead of her will provide her with new friends, experiences and adventures. However, during her day of exploring Marina Cat jeopardizes her one chance of making it back to the boat in time. Will she make it back to the boat in time to arrive home?
