Unlike many in Congress, I know what it is like to struggle.

That’s what makes me work so much harder for working families.

It is American families and children who will suffer most if Republicans stop President Biden’s Build Back Better Act from passing.

- 92,000 families in my District would continue to suffer from child poverty.
- Millions of children would be deprived of accessible, affordable, and high-quality education.
- Working families would be forced to watch our nation’s wealthiest only get richer while they struggle to put food on the table.

That is why we must act NOW. This is our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pass President Biden’s Build Back Better Act and cut child poverty in HALF.
