Last year, we saw devastating attacks on reproductive rights in Texas. From Senate Bill 8 to the Supreme Court refusing to intervene to prevent the legislation to go into effect.
S.B.8 has harmed the people of Texas by denying them their constitutionally protected right to abortion care and access. This bill should have never become law, abortion is health care. Period.
It should be simple, but our constitutionally protected rights are constantly being attacked in Texas. Congress must ACT NOW to codify Roe v. Wade and protect reproductive rights. But there is one person we can’t count on to defend our access to reproductive health care, and that’s Henry Cuellar. He is the LAST anti-choice Democrat and has sided with Republicans to vote against codifying Roe v. Wade as recently as this year.

There is no longer any confusion on where Cuellar stands on the right to choose. Even after Texas’ Republican leaders passed S.B.8, our Congressman refused to defend us and our reproductive rights.
