One year ago today, Georgians voted to send two Democratic Senators to Washington in runoff elections — and handed Democrats our Senate majority.

Over the last year, I’ve proudly worked alongside Senator Raphael Warnock to deliver for working families across the country. His voice is desperately needed in our government, and he’s a good man with an important perspective.

Rev. Warnock is leading the fight to protect voting rights in this country, and he knows more than anyone how important it is that we pass the Freedom to Vote Act. He’s raised the alarm about GOP-led efforts to pass restrictive voting laws in states like Georgia, where — get this — the law makes it illegal just to hand out water to voters waiting in line at their polling places.

In November, he’s up for re-election in what will be one of the most competitive races in the country. With a Trump-recruited candidate already in the race to take on Rev. Warnock, we need to show him that we’re ready to start fighting to protect his seat now.

Republicans are already spending big — so we can’t waste a single minute.
