This is an unprecedented level of generosity from the CSE community, and we want to say thank you to everyone who pitched in.

John –

Wow. Our team just crunched the numbers from our end-of-year fundraising efforts, and in the final hours of 2021 y’all helped ensure that we met the $50,000 matching gift challenge from a generous donor. Together, financial support from hundreds of donors raised $51,233 – which, combined with the match, adds up to $101,233. We’ll put it all to work this year as we strive for lived and legal equality for all LGBTQ Southerners.

This is an unprecedented level of generosity from the CSE community, and we want to say thank you to everyone who pitched in. Whether you made a donation, shared information about CSE, hosted a fundraiser yourself, or spread the word about the work our team is doing, we’re so grateful for you.

Special thanks to end-of-year gifts from local businesses here in the South, including Wicked Weed Brewing, New Belgium Brewing Company, Panashe Realty, and Scorch Fitness.

From everyone at the Campaign for Southern Equality team, thank you for your commitment to this vital, movement-building work for LGBTQ Southerners. We’re eager to make you proud in 2022.

Thank you,
Jasmine Beach-Ferrara
