My opponent, Derrick Van Orden, was at the Capitol as a part of the insurrection on January 6th -- when people were killed, cops were beaten, and the American Republic was besieged.
No one who attacked our country can ever be trusted to serve it, our people or our democracy.
We released a new digital ad today highlighting Van Orden’s participation in the insurrection, and I want you to be among the first to see it. Everyone needs to know exactly where he was on that awful day.
The people I grew up with out here in western Wisconsin love this country, and that’s true whether they’re Republicans, Democrats or anything else. But let’s be clear, Derrick Van Orden is not a Republican, he’s an insurrectionist, and I can tell you this: we won’t send an insurrectionist to Congress.
