The GOP knew what they were doing when they urged millions of supporters to come to Washington to fight on January 6th. They knew the dangers of telling them to march to the Capitol and show no weakness. They knew that Donald Trump was attempting to stop the peaceful transfer of power after a free and fair election.
But they didn’t care.
In fact, since then, Republicans doubled down on Trump’s Big Lie to pass egregious voter suppression laws in 19 states and root for Donald Trump’s comeback in 2024.
We can’t sit back and let the GOP burn our democracy to the ground. Republicans must be held accountable at the ballot box in November, and we need your help to prove that we’ll never back down.
