DEMAND COVID-19 SAFETY [[link removed]]
IN AIR TRAVEL [[link removed]]

John,

As I was flying out of California recently, I looked around the cabin of the plane and took in the sight of rows and rows of passengers, pressed close together.

I’ll be honest with you — I was extremely anxious for the entire flight.

I am vaccinated against COVID-19, but when I boarded the plane, there was no way to be sure that other passengers were, too. That’s actually what made me anxious: not the risk of contracting COVID-19 myself, but the possibility that unvaccinated passengers were transporting the virus across the country to countless other, more vulnerable Americans.

We need action, John. And that means requiring proof of vaccination for all domestic air travel now. If people are going to board a plane and sit less than six inches away from others and their families, they should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

At this point, we’ve been through over a year of the pandemic. Small, stopgap measures are not working. Just wearing a mask or screening for temperature is not enough.

We need to COVID-proof our transportation system, and that includes individual air travel. If you’re with me on this, please sign our petition demanding that all domestic air travel passengers be required to show proof of vaccination. [[link removed]]
