I have
always made my position clear.
I fully support law-abiding citizens’
right to protect themselves and their families – and over the last
three years, I have LED the charge to get Constitutional Carry on the
books here in the great state of Georgia.
Today, I announced our push
to GET THE JOB DONE this year!
The U.S. Constitution grants our
citizens the right to carry a firearm. This is a fundamental right that
should not be limited by state government approval.
Building a safer
and stronger Georgia starts with hardworking Georgians, especially now
in the face of rising violent crime that is increasingly targeting our
most vulnerable citizens.
As we prepare to kick off the 2022
legislative session, I am working closely with members of the House and
Senate on this important legislation. It is one of my top priorities
this year.
We’re going to face a whole new onslaught of far-left and
liberal media attacks. That much is certain...
But standing strong and
united, just like we did on election reform and protecting the right to
life, I know we can finally get Constitutional Carry across the finish
line.
We’re ramping up immediately to cut through the left’s lies and
build broad public support for this legislation. So please, pitch in
