John -- One year ago today, Georgia voters marched to the ballot box in a run-off election and provided Democrats with a Senate majority by electing U.S. Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
Almost immediately after those wins, Republican politicians passed a dangerous voter suppression bill in Georgia and have considered hundreds of others in 49 states.
Now, Senator Warnock is urging his Democratic colleagues to take national action on voting rights as Republicans continue to refuse to even debate the bill.
We agree with Sen. Warnock. We must take action on voting rights while Democrats are in charge. Will you pitch in $15 right now to help us continue investing in our more than $1 million campaign to pass this bill and ensure our elections are fair?

The senator from Georgia also sounded the alarm on Republican efforts to muddy the waters on the state level. Trump allies are recruiting right-wing election officials who are likely to be sympathetic to unsubstantiated GOP legal challenges to election results in the future.
Warnock said: “These politicians in the state legislature have already laid the tracks to take over local boards of elections.”
Passing nationwide voting reforms is one of the surest ways we can stave off undemocratic attempts to overturn fair election results on the national, state, and local level.
On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Schumer said he plans to consider and debate changes to the Senate rules in less than two weeks if Republicans do not change course from obstructing the democracy reforms we so badly need.
Can we count on you to make a $15 donation right now? Your contribution will help us pass this bill into law and tackle “the central moral issue confronting this Congress in this moment.”
