[2]Dream Corps
Dear { user.first_name|default:"Friend"|title }},
Thank you.
Throughout 2021, you dared to dream big with Dream Corps. You stood with us, and I’m in awe of what we accomplished together. We are grateful for your support and belief in our vision for a society with dignity and freedom for all.
Our country needs changemakers like you who have the tenacity to believe we can overcome inequality, racism and the climate crisis. We had some big wins in 2021, and are excited to build on that momentum and dream big in 2022.
On our “to-do” list:
* Fight to pass the EQUAL Act to end the shameful disparity in sentencing between crack and powder cocaine.
* Support the implementation of Justice40 - an initiative that aims to deliver at least 40% of federal climate investments to under-resourced communities.
* Continue advocating for the Common Ground Platform - an action plan for reducing emissions and putting millions of Americans back to work with good-paying jobs.
* Diversify the tech pipeline by bringing our TECH Job Training Cohort program to major tech hubs such as the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, and the Twin Cities.
* Expand the TECH Scholarship program to provide upward of 300 scholarships for tooling and certification programs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To carry out these goals, we’re making big plans including:
* Launching the 2022 National #DayofEmpathy
* Hosting the second Black Future Weekend conference in Miami, Florida
* Continue the Green For All Solutions Tour across the nation
As you can see, we have ambitious goals to scale our initiatives and continue the push for systemic change. But without you, our work is not possible. When we stand together, we can find success beyond our wildest dreams.
In solidarity,
—Nisha Anand
Chief Executive Officer
