Yesterday was a momentous day in the fight for fair maps, and we couldn't have done it without you.

In Virginia, Democrats flipped both chambers of the General Assembly, ensuring fair redistricting in 2021. For the first time in years, candidates competed on fair maps in the House of Delegates.

In Kentucky, Democrat Andy Beshear defeated extreme-right Republican Governor Matt Bevin, giving Democrats veto power over manipulated maps during 2021 redistricting.

In Texas' HD-28 special election, Democrat Eliz Markowitz came in first place and will go to a runoff against the second-place Republican.

You made this happen, friend. Your support for the NDRC allowed us to make big investments in our target states and directly contributed to these wins. You helped us take a massive step toward fair maps last night.

But as exciting as these results are, we can't let up for a minute. We still have races to win in 2019, and we still need your help to win them.

Eliz Markowitz' runoff will take place in December. And coming up even sooner, on November 16, Louisianans will vote in their own gubernatorial and state legislative runoff elections. The governor's race is a toss-up and Donald Trump is campaigning in Louisiana today. Ten years of maps and control of the House of Representatives are on the line.

We're also less than a year out from the 2020 elections that will be our last chance to secure fair maps electorally. Will you rush a donation to help us keep winning in 2019 and 2020?

When we launched the NDRC, we committed to a multi-year, multi-pronged effort to achieve fairness in our elections. That means nothing ends just because Election Day is over -- our fight will go on until the last state completes redistricting.
