** Black Panther, Castro Fan Bobby Rush Will Not Seek Reelection
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

NBC Chicago reported on Monday ([link removed]) that longtime Democrat Rep. Bobby Rush ([link removed]) (IL) — communism enthusiast, former Black Panther Party ([link removed]) co-founder, and advocate of “offensive violence against the power structure” — is retiring from Congress at the end of his term and will not seek reelection.

That makes him the twenty-fourth Democrat to announce an exit from the House at the end of this year, dangerously thinning the Democrat majority in the House after the midterm elections.

An unabashed admirer of the late communist dictator Fidel Castro ([link removed]) , Rush has voted far left on every bill and issue in the course of his long career, including the so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill earlier this year and the astronomically expensive Build Back Better Act, designed to fundamentally transform the United States and subvert its capitalist prosperity.

Rush’s career in office has been plagued with corruption, support for violent radical leftists and antisemitic loons like Louis Farrakhan ([link removed]) , and race-mongering hatred of the United States. His retirement is America’s gain.

In April 2009, Rush was part of a delegation of seven Congressional Black Caucus members who traveled to Havana to meet with former Cuban president Fidel Castro ([link removed]) and his successor, Raul Castro. After the meeting, Rush and his cohorts praised ([link removed]) the Castros as warm and hospitable hosts, and they called for an end to America’s longstanding ban on travel to Cuba. Of his conversation with Fidel Castro, Rush said: “It was almost like listening to an old friend…. In my household, I told Castro, he is known as the ultimate survivor.” Rush also marveled ([link removed]) at Raul Castro’s “keen sense of humor, his sense of history and his basic human qualities.”
