Friends, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude.

Time and time again, you’ve shown your support for our people-first movement — by signing a petition in support of bold change, volunteering your time, or chipping in whatever you’re able to power our work.

It’s your generosity and belief in our movement that has kept us focused on building a better future for everyone — no matter their income or ZIP code.

Even as we’ve faced obstacles in this past year, you’ve stood with me and our movement, making it stronger than ever.

As COVID-19 continued to harm our communities, you supported our work to pass legislation to provide economic relief and ramp up vaccinations and testing — and put the pressure on the current administration to continue the pause on student loan payments.

When law enforcement took Daunte Wright’s life in Minnesota, you spoke out against these injustices and helped ensure our campaign could visit hundreds of neighbors in Brooklyn Center and deliver groceries and supplies to those in need. And we breathed a sigh of relief the moment George Floyd’s murderer was held accountable for his death — while recommitting to doing all we can to achieve true justice and protect Black lives.

And when we saw a surge in anti-Muslim hate, you mobilized and supported the passage of my legislation to combat Islamophobia worldwide that finally passed in the House before the end of the year.

I have no doubt we will face more challenges in 2022. But I also have no doubt that you will be alongside me as I fight to pass bold, progressive legislation that meets the moment, support our communities, stamp out hate, and help elect strong progressives up and down the ballot.
