In recent years, the GOP has packed the Supreme Court with right-wing ideologues for their own partisan interests, and it’s time for Democrats to take a stand on behalf of the American people! That’s why earlier this year, I introduced a bill in the House that would expand the court by four seats.
 
Did you know? Congress has added seats to the Supreme Court seven times throughout history. 
 
 
 
More than ever before, the Supreme Court is out-of-step with the values of the American people. We must expand the Court so the issues we care deeply about – like reproductive freedom, climate justice, and voting rights – are decided by a balanced court instead of a conservative supermajority.  
 
I’ll continue working with Demand Justice to fix our judicial branch by expanding the Supreme Court so it functions as intended. If you agree, I hope you’ll sign our petition.
