No one should have to choose between a paycheck and their health.
Did you know that the United States is the only industrialized nation with no guaranteed paid family and medical leave?
Right now, as individuals and families confront unprecedented economic and public health crises, the need for this essential infrastructure is more clear than ever.
The Build Back Better Act, which we passed in the House, would provide four weeks of paid family and medical leave to everyone, every year — but the Senate has yet to hold a vote on the bill, preventing this critical legislation from reaching the President's desk and advancing urgent priorities like paid leave.
Will you join Ayanna, and all of the advocates and organizers fighting tirelessly to advance paid leave, in calling on the Senate to immediately pass the Build Back Better Act and make national paid leave a reality for millions of working families?

Let’s make it plain: No one should have to choose between a paycheck and their health.
But the vast majority of working people, particularly women and folx of color, aren’t able to care for a new baby, a sick loved one, or their own health because they can’t afford to take time off of work. That is unconscionable.
Paid family and medical leave is a matter of public health, and a racial, gender, economic, and disability justice issue — and it’s time we deliver this essential infrastructure for our communities.
Please add your name to urge the Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act swiftly and without further delay »
