Because of people like you, who showed up, chipped in, supported Real Justice, and made sure to share our message of transformative justice far and wide, December was our best fundraising month since March 2021.
And while we did not hit our goal — a goal we always knew would be hugely ambitious — we came SO close (just $2,879 short) and we can still roll out almost all of the plans we have ready for the big year ahead.
I am so grateful to every single person who gave what they could because they believe in the power of our work. I can never stress this enough — nothing we do is possible without you.
When we elect transformative leaders committed to ending mass incarceration, it’s because people like you understand that this is life-saving work.
When we mobilize to free people who have been wrongfully incarcerated and put the pressure on, it’s because of people like you who continue to power our movement a few dollars at a time.
When we strategize for upcoming plans — like prioritizing elections in communities across the country to support the change-makers we have elected and targeting specific DA races for maximum impact — it’s because we have had your grassroots support to get here.
John, YOU are who powers everything we do at Real Justice. We’re already kicking off some of our biggest plans for 2022 and we know the earlier we have our resources, the bigger we can go on everything we’ve got coming up.
