Hey John,

I don’t like to email people twice in the same week, but what happened in Virginia last night is a really big deal, and I want to make sure you heard about it:

• Virginia elected a majority of candidates who believe in gun violence prevention, voting out the corrupt, NRA sell-outs who ended a special session on ending gun violence after the Virginia Beach shooting -- without considering a single piece of legislation.
• These wins happened in the NRA’s backyard -- their headquarters are in Fairfax County, VA. And that county elected candidates who made it clear they’re ready to end the gun violence epidemic. 
• The $298,000 the NRA poured into the election? Didn’t matter. Didn’t make a difference. Because Virginia. Voted. Them. OUT. 

It was a great night in Virginia, and it shows that our local chapters and activists are making a difference. We’re registering new voters across the country, spreading the word about our bold and comprehensive Peace Plan, and taking on the NRA in its own backyard. And it’s working. 

Can you chip in $20.20 today so we can continue this momentum through 2020? 

Last night, voters in Virginia said no to NRA corruption and political inaction. Next year, we’re going to help voters say it across the country.
