ABC News: “Majority of Americans think Jan. 6 attack threatened democracy”

John, do you think that Donald Trump is responsible for the January 6th attack on our democracy? YES NO

We can’t believe it, John — nearly a year after the January 6th insurrection, a majority of the Republican party believes that Trump bears no responsibility for the violent attack. What’s more, 71% of Republicans still think that Trump was the winner of the 2020 election!

But here’s the good news: the majority of Americans are clear that what happened on January 6th was an attack on democracy — and that Trump is to blame.

But with the anniversary of January 6th rapidly coming up, we need to verify that data on our own. That’s why we’re asking again:
