Happy New Year, John!

In mildest possible terms, 2022 is a big, big, big year.

The midterm election on November 8 will be a pivotal moment, with consequences that will resonate for years to come. In Congressional and Senate races all across the country, Americans will decide whether to push back against fascist authoritarianism or allow extreme insurrectionists to remain in power.

If that sounds scary, well, that’s because it is! And Florida’s 15th District has a critical role to play, because we’ve got our very own, home-grown insurrectionist to defeat, and his name is Scott Franklin.

But with people like you on our side, I’m not worried. Actually, I am extremely worried, but I’m hopeful. I really do believe that most people will choose love and solidarity over division and hatred — but it’s not enough to just say that. We have to prove it on November 8.

So, thank you for being on our team. Thank you for donating, for reading, for spreading the word about our campaign to your friends and family. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish this year.
