As a resident of Louisville, last week's devastating fires were personal for me. My heart goes out to my friends and neighbors who lost their homes, and businesses and residents who were impacted by this devastating event.

As a resident of Louisville, last week's devastating fires were personal for me. My heart goes out to my friends and neighbors who lost their homes and businesses, and residents who were impacted by this devastating event.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the first responders who put their lives on the line to protect our community.
