I am so fired up today, and I hope you are too. The people have spoken; hard-working, decent people who deserve representatives that put their best interests first.  

I am thrilled that my neighbors in Kentucky stood up for themselves last night and voted out a governor who cut teacher’s pensions, fought against unions, and cut funding for rural hospitals. 

Americans are ready for a change. We have to do what Kentucky did, both across the country and right here in West Virginia. Our U.S. Senator, Shelley Moore Capito, votes with Trump 96% of the time. My BNC slate mate Kimberly Graham is running against Republican Senator Joni Ernst in Iowa. We are fighting because our states are tired of lip-service and politicians who talk out of both sides of their mouths but ultimately vote for the best interests of their corporate donors, not the people.

The consequences of the status quo are unacceptable. That’s why we’re challenging the status quo with a whole slate of people like me who are running 100% grassroots, people-focused, on-the-ground campaigns that aim to make a REAL difference for all of us.
