John, I’m heading into this year with a lot of hope.

Supporters of the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), like you, came together to donate more than $510,000 (surpassing our goal!) in the last months of 2021 to defend immigrants and protect people seeking asylum.

Your support keeps families together and ensures thousands of immigrants can live, work, and thrive in the United States.

We have many challenges and a lot of work still ahead to make the U.S. immigration system fair and just, but your support helps give immigrants in our communities a fighting chance.

I’m very grateful to our dedicated partners who gave generous matching grants: Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, David Berten, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Jerry Newton and David Weinberg, Perkins Coie LLP, and Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP.

THANK YOU for all you do to advocate for immigrant rights and stand with immigrants in your community.

I look forward to working with you in 2022 to continue defending immigrants and justice for all. I wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, and peaceful new year.

P.S. In case you missed it, NIJC highlighted some of our 2021 accomplishments in this graphic and blog post: https://immigrantjustice.org/staff/blog/how-we-defended-human-rights-2021. Because of your support, we’re looking forward to doing even more in 2022!
