I am the only candidate in my race supporting the Green New Deal and ending the fossil fuel industry by 2030. The technology exists — it’s the political will that doesn’t exist. Please chip in now to help me change that and fight in Congress for real action on climate.

 

Big news in the political world today! Senator Joe Manchin is “open” to “re-engaging” on climate change.

 

Are you kidding me?

 

Guess what’s not willing to negotiate? Climate change!

 

Climate change doesn’t care if a conservative Democrat in the Senate wants to negotiate on it or not.

 

Climate change doesn’t care if Joe Manchin was a “no” on December 19, a yes on January 2, and a who-knows-what on January 15.

 

Climate change is coming for us whether we like it or not.

 

We need REAL action on climate NOW. Instead Joe Biden is approving drilling permits at a faster rate than Trump and Joe Manchin is dictating our climate policy. Joe Manchin is a literal coal baron, by the way.

 

Please excuse me if I sound radical and alarmist, but even NASA climate scientists are saying climate change could end human civilization, so I think it’s only rational that we end the fossil fuel industry by 2030 and transition to a 100% renewable energy economy. Can you give a couple bucks now to help me fight for that in Congress?

I wake up every day and think about climate change, and how our inaction is robbing millennials and Gen Z of a future. I think about the sold-out Republicans and corporate Democrats stopping us from averting the worst climate catastrophe — corporate Democrats like Joe Manchin and my opponent Derek Kilmer, a Chevron Democrat who opposes the Green New Deal.
