After two years of coping with COVID-19, this new report considers learning loss that's occurred during the pandemic.
- Last May, most fourth graders had four hours or fewer of daily live instruction during remote learning. White students learned in-person at the highest rates of any race or ethnicity in the 2020-21 school year. In January, half of all fourth graders attending in-person school were white. By May, that rose to 66%.
