John, the new year is finally here and we are all so excited to jump into 2022 at full speed.
We can't begin to thank you enough for your part in helping us grow our campaign momentum in 2021 while supporting our progressive values with our community building efforts. All of us on Team Bowman are deeply grateful and inspired by this movement — and we're ready to continue this hard work into the new year!
Together in 2021, we were able to raise tens of thousands of dollars for mutual aid groups, emergency relief funds, community building projects, and our progressive allies in order to build up our base of resources. All the while, we were able to use our funds to continue our driven and proactive voter outreach efforts while gearing up for Jamaal's 2022 re-election campaign.
But now we have even bigger opportunities and obstacles ahead of us. In 2022, we're going to need to have a strong force of voter outreach. We're going to be reaching out to as many new potential voters as possible through our digital and on-the-ground canvassing. And, once we settle with the results of the new redistricting maps, we're going to need the resources to spread our message further than we have been before.
We did a lot in 2021, and with your support we'll be able to continue planning a robust and competitive campaign in 2022. With these new goals, we're going to need an even stronger base of support to push our agenda and continue causing problems for the status quo.
