Happy New Year! We want to invite you to start the New Year off right. Tomorrow is the deadline to apply to one of three upcoming trainings for campaign staff, candidates, or tech workers. Apply to one of our trainings to invest in yourself and join a community of passionate progressives who want to make an impact in 2022.
This year, voters will be able to cast their vote in 6,166 state legislative elections, all 435 House races, 34 Senate races, 36 governor’s races, and thousands of local elections.
Our programs train inspiring and diverse candidates and campaign staff to build winning campaigns and help aspiring staff land jobs when they can make an impact. The deadline to apply for each of the three upcoming Arena trainings is tomorrow, January 4, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Check out the descriptions below.

Tech to Elections: Campaigns 101 for Tech Workers held January 20-22 |

This 2.5-day online training is designed for tech and data professionals who want to put their skills to work on campaigns. We’ll help participants understand campaigns and the different opportunities to get involved. We’ll cover how campaigns work, how to transfer your skills to make an impact, how bias shows up in campaign data, and more. Apply today>> |

Arena Academy Online held February 3-7 |
|
There’s no degree that will prepare you to work on campaigns, but there is Arena Academy. These five days will get you up to speed to manage or join a campaign. We cover everything from combating misinformation and good management practices to specialized skills on each track like running an email program, using SQL, or managing a budget. Arena Academy is for everyone who wants to learn how to work on a campaign or take their skills to a new level. We accept applicants at all levels of campaign experience. Apply today>> |

Run Academy held February 3-6 |
|
We’re thrilled to offer this brand new Academy track in partnership with Run for Something. This unique program will partner staff and candidates to learn the fundamentals of building winning campaigns. The training will be held online from February 3-6 in tandem with Arena Academy Online. Participants will take part in an immersive four-day learning experience alongside fellow candidates and over 200 participants studying Campaign Management, Communications, Data, Digital, Finance, Organizing, or Organizing Directors. We’re looking for strong, diverse applicants who are committed to building and implementing progressive reforms at the state and local level. Apply today>> |
