Happy New Year, John!

I wanted to take a moment to not only wish you a happy new year, but also extend my gratitude for all of your support toward hitting our crucial end-of-year fundraising goal -- and our first public filing deadline of my re-election campaign.

Our end-of-year fundraising goal came at a crucial moment of our campaign, and when we reached out asking for your help, you stepped up in a big way. We hit our December goal, and we're able to show our extreme opponent and his special interest allies how strong our grassroots team is heading into election year.

Thanks to your support we're starting off the year in a strong position. Serving as your governor is a privilege I don't take for granted. I'm looking forward to continuing to work toward building a better Kansas for all.
