John -- Good news and bad news in the fight for voting rights. First the bad news:

The Brennan Center for Justice:
"This year’s tidal wave of restrictive voting legislation will continue in 2022."


That's right -- all indications are that Republicans are planning to double down on their efforts to restrict voting in 2022. But here's the good news:

1. We're expecting movement on the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act soon.
2. With your help, the NDRC is co-leading a $35 million campaign with End Citizens United in support of the Freedom to Vote Act.
3. And we're continuing to fight against voter suppression and gerrymandering in the states.
