I am once again so grateful to this community for stepping up and supporting Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) at the end of the year. From the bottom of my heart: Thank you.
MSF's work is challenging but crucial, as we face compounding global health threats and prepare for the next phase of our COVID-19 response. I find hope and courage in knowing that we have supporters like you by our side every step of the way.
The support of this generous community will make a tremendous difference in 2022 across so many efforts, including:
Rescuing refugees and migrants in distress in the central Mediterranean
Ensuring access to essentials like food and clean water for people displaced by severe floods in South Sudan
Providing lifesaving maternal and malnutrition care to mothers and children in Afghanistan
Supporting people in more than 70 countries as they continue to navigate the pandemic
Thanks to this community’s support, we will continue to go where the need is greatest—often where other organizations can’t or won’t go—to ensure we can provide vital medical humanitarian aid at a moment’s notice.
Suffice it to say, the selflessness of this community will help us continue our important work in 2022.
