When the Trump-Pence administration finalized its discriminatory rule that would have let personal beliefs dictate patient care, we sued. And John, we just found out that we stopped this dangerous rule from going into effect!

But we know this administration is fuming from our victory — and we know its lawyers are already working to appeal this decision. Which is why we’re not stopping now. We’re not just going to win in court — we’re also going to win by pushing for laws and policies that will protect patients from discrimination.

When this administration first proposed this rule, you showed up, and together, we submitted 200,000 comments opposing it.

When this administration finalized this rule, you were behind us and our lawyers working to fight this rule in court.

And now that we’ve made it loud and clear that a health care provider’s personal beliefs should never dictate the care a patient receives, we’re going to keep fighting together, in court and in Congress.
