A personal note from JENNIFER:

"Determined to continue to serve, protect, and defend.

Over the last 10 months, I have been blessed to traverse this state sharing with the beautiful and wonderful people of this state that I swore an oath to protect and defend and that my oath did not retire.  It still has not.

My oath to serve is not determined by the outcome of an election.  I am determined to continue a lifetime of service always putting people first.

Although, our path did not lead to election as Attorney General, I am still determined to protect all Mississippians.

I congratulate Lynn Fitch on being positioned as the state's chief legal officer.  I will continue to pray for all the leadership of the State of Mississippi and ask God to remind you daily of your duty to serve all the people of this state.

It is the PEOPLE who make this STATE great!

To all who voted for me, to those who prayed for me, to my supporters who helped me, to my family and friends who loved on and lifted me, I say thank you and remind you we are resilient and determined.

Our cadence must continue to be "with a steady beat" as we continue to march toward the prize of the high call until the flag to which we pledged allegiance is truly representative of "one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all"!"
