Friend,

With a new year come new beginnings and a fresh reminder that together we can rise up to meet our collective challenges.

Through a difficult 2021, we saw community strength and unity time and again.

We witnessed the dedication of frontline healthcare workers; the resilience of our public schools and family businesses; and the sacrifice of all those working for peace and justice in our communities.

That spirit inspires in me hope for a bright new year and the knowledge that by working together we can overcome the challenges we still face.
