Here are a few ways you can stand up for immigrants right now (keep reading!)

Hi John,

Thanks for joining the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) in defending the human rights of immigrants, their families, and communities. NIJC provides life-changing legal services, advocacy for humane immigration laws, and education that fosters a more productive conversation about immigration. We're glad you joined our list recently and we look forward to staying in touch!

We know our country is better when we come together. We will continue to defend and uphold our fundamental American values of justice and equality. And your energy and support will ensure the wellbeing of our friends, our neighbors, and our community.

There are many ways you can stand up for immigrants right now:

Stay in the loop.

Make sure you're signed up for NIJC's immigration updates and action alerts to stay informed and be alerted at critical moments when your voice is needed to defend immigrant rights.

Get a legal consultation.

If you or someone you know has questions about an immigration matter, we strongly recommend a legal screening to evaluate your options and whether you qualify for a permanent form of immigration relief. Learn more about NIJC's services. To schedule an appointment with NIJC, please call 312-660-1370 or email [email protected].

Become an ambassador for immigrant rights.

View NIJC’s Immigrant Rights Ambassador Toolkit  to learn how you can help educate friends, colleagues, and neighbors about the importance of supporting immigrants and asylum seekers in our communities.

Become a pro bono attorney.

Volunteer to provide legal representation to an immigrant, refugee, or asylum seeker. Learn more about being a pro bono attorney with NIJC.

Join our team.

NIJC is hiring staff across all projects and all levels of experience. View open jobs at NIJC. If you want to be notified when we list new openings and opportunities, sign up for our employment e-updates.

Stay tuned. We’ll keep in touch with more ways you can participate in the movement to defend justice and human rights.

When you stand up for your values, you don't stand alone. Thanks for joining in the fight for justice.
