We did it! Thanks to this incredible, powerful community of gun violence prevention supporters, we met our fundraising goal.

This job can be very difficult. There are many moments when I’m met with the reality that there is nothing I can do to take the pain away from people so undeserving of it. I cannot bring back loved ones murdered senselessly. Our team cannot heal the physical wounds of survivors who lived to tell their tale.

What we can do, however, is organize a path to justice. We can change the hearts and minds of those in powerful decision-making positions, and we can unleash the untold power of gun violence survivors, when they dare to use their voice to make change.
