Last night, my friend and fellow state Attorney General Andy Beshear was elected Governor of Kentucky, defeating an incumbent Republican and outperforming 2016 Democrats by some 20 points. 

Andy won in a red state by having a plan to address issues important to voters, working harder and smarter, knocking on more doors, and — yes — by raising more small dollar donations than his opponent. 

Andy’s win proves that Democrats can win even in Republican strongholds, but only when we go all out. 

Not only did Andy win in Kentucky, but Democrats swept the state house and senate in Virginia last night, and won numerous other local elections around the country. 

Will you chip in now to continue this national momentum and ensure that we are victorious here in North Carolina as well?
