Dear Patriot,
Happy New Year!
It was an honor to represent Mississippi's 4th Congressional District in Congress last year. As we look forward to another year, I want to reassure you of my commitment to champion the needs of South Mississippi in Washington, to drive a conservative agenda, and to resist liberal attacks on our freedom, our liberty, and our democracy.
For the last 11 months, we have faced historic inflation, higher grocery bills, higher gas prices, higher crime rates , a crumbling border, unconstitutional mandates, and massive supply chain disruptions at the hands of Joe Biden’s disastrous policies. Joe Biden said he'd build America back better, but instead he's built back BROKE.
These remain critical issues that I will continue to fight against until we STOP the madness we’ve suffered as a result of the liberals' "Woke" Agenda.
More specifically, I joined my colleagues in both the Senate and House to put a stop to these unconstitutional mandates.
As a Marine Corps Veteran and member of the Mississippi National Guard, I will never stop fighting for our troops. Vaccine mandates and low take-home pay, combined with the embarrassing withdrawal from Afghanistan, have ruined our reputation abroad and discouraged our ranks. I am working to make sure we retain our most talented service members by, among other things, championing legislation to support National Guard and Reserve pay equity and improve troop readiness.
Additionally, I have been working to ensure we have the resources we need to remain economically competitive. For example, South Mississippi has received a highly competitive RAISE grant for the third consecutive year. This investment is imperative to expanding our growing tourism industry, supporting the new businesses, and creating safe evacuation routes from severe weather.
We are certain to face continued challenges in the year ahead, but I firmly believe that during year's midterm elections we have a chance to take back the House and put conservative policies back in place.
I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and promised myself, my family, and my constituents that I will do whatever I can to protect this great nation and the families of Mississippi’s 4th District.
And that’s exactly what I am doing.
