When I woke up this morning, I felt hopeful.

Over the past seven months, supporters like you have helped me build a grassroots movement that's strong enough to move mountains. And over the past week, when it seemed like I might not be able to hit my $250,000 End of Quarter goal, you stepped up to make it happen, ensuring I could kick off this election year on the strongest foot possible. I can't thank you enough for believing in my campaign, and I'm so grateful to have you by my side.

It's the first day of 2022, and we now have an incredible opportunity before us: This year, we can deliver better leadership to Floridians and the country by defeating Marco Rubio. If we win, Friend, Democrats are virtually guaranteed to keep and even expand our Senate majority.

That's why I'm feeling so optimistic today, because my race can deliver Democrats the power to build a brighter future for America – one where reproductive freedom is protected, every eligible voter can participate in our democracy, everyone has access to affordable health care and we finally take action to save lives from gun violence.

This election is the opportunity of a lifetime, and there's no doubt in my mind that we CAN win. But with that progress we all yearn for hinging on Florida, Republicans will undoubtedly pour millions into this race to defeat me. Losing momentum for even one second – missing this goal – could put me behind. And falling short before Election Day could mean losing the Senate or keeping a 50-50 status quo where one bad vote could stall our progress, so I need your help today.
