Dear John,

With each new year comes an opportunity to reflect on the year gone by and to forge ahead with renewed purpose and intention. It is also the perfect time to extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to our dedicated supporters for their commitment to the vital mission work of our organization.

As the father of an adult on the spectrum, my family has experienced all the critical life stages with our son - from diagnosis to intervention; from school placements to, most recently, transitioning to the workforce. Just like my family did, the entire autism community needs support in reaching each of these milestones. YOU make that support possible.

In the past year alone, your generosity has made it possible for Autism Speaks to:

• Provide personalized assistance to more than 70,000 people looking for advice and guidance through our Autism Response Team
• Assist more than 1.5 million people with free access to vital resources and services
• Launch the first of its kind Autism Care Network to advance autism care more rapidly, getting the right care to the right patient at the right time
• Develop Workplace Inclusion Now ™ (WIN) employment initiative, bringing together job seekers with autism, employers and communities to build and support inclusive workplaces
