Yesterday, as we counted down to midnight and said goodbye to 2021, we reflected on the challenging year so many of us continued to have as a result of the pandemic. But, because of your support, many in the veteran community were able to lead a life with dignity and respect.

From an overwhelming successful Heroes Giving Week which helped provide job offers through DAV’s National Employment program to honoring 5,180 veterans in our Field of Flags… to continuing to assist over one million veterans in gaining access to positive, life-changing programs at no cost to them or their families… to the myriad of other ways supporters like you stepped up for veterans in this difficult year — each of you demonstrated that your support for these heroes does not waver.

Thanks to you, the new year looks more hopeful for our nation’s veterans. I’m so excited to see the progress we continue to make — and the lives we’re able to help change — together.
