Friend,
I need a few minutes of your time this evening.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: Haven’t I heard from FPC a lot already today?
And the answer is definitely yes! In fact, you have my permission to yell at the fundraising team later. But for now, trust me when I say this is a necessary evil.
As I’m sure you’ve heard from Evan, Richard, Matt and Bill, today is a make-or-break day for FPC. And we are still under the gun to meet a $100,000 NYE goal by midnight.
But if you’ve been following our emails today, you know that we’re not holding out our hand without offering some pretty cool incentives in return.
We’ve already announced giveaways of a CZ P-10F, Stag Arms 15 300 BLK Pistol, and a Zev Core Elite Rifle.
I’m happy to be the one to kick off our final and arguably best gun giveaway of New Year’s Eve: an FN SCAR 17s.
But don’t misunderstand, we’re not just giving away guns to make money or score some social media buzz. We’re getting ready for a massive fight in 2022.
This year has already been one of the biggest and craziest years to be a gun owner in recent memory.
We’ve seen the Biden Administration and a number of states throw everything they have at gun owners. And by all indications, they aren’t stopping anytime soon.
Let’s not forget that just this week, they wrote in USA Today that if you own a gun and advocate for the right to keep and bear arms, you’re basically an extremist. Nevermind the fact it's a constitutional right.
That’s why I’m calling on you to help FPC Law sue the hell out of these gun-grabbing despots.
With your support, we’ve taken on “assault weapon” bans from coast to coast in cases like Bianchi v. Frosh (Maryland), Viramontes v. Cook County (Illinois), and Miller v. Bonta (California) in which we actually defeated the State of California in federal court.
In fact, our victory in Miller - which secured a judgement from Judge Roger T. Benitez overturning the ban - is actually a win of historic proportions.
When FPC won, it was the first time in American history that a state “assault weapons” ban was struck down in federal district court.
It’s why, after we won, everybody from Governor Newsom to Attorney Generals in other states immediately went on the attack. And the national media went ballistic.
But that doesn’t even begin to cover the work we did in 2021. We filed a number of legal actions in cases dealing with unconstitutional age bans, magazine restrictions, and even the fundamental right to carry a firearm in public, all while investigating alleged violations of civil rights that were reported to our 2A Hotline and working behind the scenes in other cases to ensure that Liberty prevails
I’m proud to say my team filed a pivotal amicus brief in the case NYSRPA v. Bruen. That’s the first 2A case the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear in over a decade.
And if the court properly affirms that the Second Amendment means what it says and protects the right to keep and bear arms inside AND outside the home, it will be in part because of YOUR support!
This is exactly the kind of pro-gun, pro-liberty legal action that I want to see not only continue, but dramatically EXPAND in 2022.
We’re working very hard right now and making plans so that we can continue to identify areas to restore Second Amendment rights and increase the number of FPC lawsuits filed each year in support of Liberty.
Clinching our $100,000 NYE fundraising goal is absolutely essential to hitting the ground running in the New Year. And we are running out of time to meet it.
GIVE ANY AMOUNT & WIN A SCAR 17S!
I just asked our fundraising team where we stand, and it looks like we still need to raise at least $25,000 in order to meet our fundraising goal.
That’s why I’m urging you to make a freedom contribution without delay.
I’m proud to fight for you and your inalienable right to keep and bear arms every single day. And I’m grateful that FPC has such awesome supporters like you.
Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve, and together, let’s ring in the New Year with a taste of FREEDOM!
Sincerely,
Adam Kraut
FPC Senior Director of Legal Operations
