URGENT: We're still short of our $25,000 goal...
Donate by MIDNIGHT & TRIPLE your impact >>
John,
We are hours away from the end of the year — the cut-off for our fundraising deadline to help support the home care workers, nannies, and housecleaners who lead this movement AND take care of our families.
Your support this year has helped power our movement and we couldn’t be more grateful. We know we can count on you, John, so that’s why we’re reaching out to ask: can you make a gift today? We are still SHORT on our goal and your donation will help us capitalize on a generous matching gift and push us towards the finish line.
Home care workers, nannies, and housecleaners, the majority of whom are women of color, live at the epicenter of intersecting crises in our country — economic and health disparities, racial and gender discrimination, and more.
When we solve for the issues that women of color and immigrant women face, we can make our society better for everyone.
That’s why we need resources to pull out all the stops in our advocacy and organizing so that we can fight for and alongside domestic workers in creating a stronger, more equitable system of care that is built around families, consumers and workers.
Don’t think you have enough to make a difference? ANY amount will help us leverage a generous matching gift and get us closer to our goal.
It’s never been more clear that caregivers and domestic workers are essential to our lives.
It’s time we not only get them the support they need and show them the gratitude they deserve, but also make sure that everyone has access to care that enables all our families to thrive.
With deep gratitude,
Ai-jen Poo
