As your inboxes fill up with post-holiday sales and numerous charity appeals for “Your last chance to give”, Urgent Action Fund would like to remind you that giving isn’t an action for a single day, but rather part of how we build and resource powerful feminist movements for the long-haul!
While it is true that December 31st is the last day for you to make your tax-deductible gift in 2021, UAF counts on your support 365 days a year. UAF’s rapid response grantmaking model of flexible funding means that we respond whenever movements and activists ask for our support. This year, UAF provided a total amount of $2,372,276.00 via 327 rapid response grants to women, girls, and trans human rights defenders across our regions.
