Team -- I have an opponent for 2020 who has made his positions very clear:

He has publicly called for a wall at the southern border, even though the project would take money away from Washington military projects and families.

When I refused to accept Purdue Pharma's settlement for its role in creating and exacerbating the opioid crisis, he called me "bent on destroying lives and businesses."

In the wake of the Dayton and El Paso shootings, my opponent voiced his support for fewer gun regulations. He opposes I-1639, which includes mental health background checks and raising the purchasing age for military-style assault weapons -- and is even working to repeal I-1639, demonstrating that he is out of touch with the 60% of Washingtonians who approved that common sense measure.

My opponent can accept donations from special interests that want him on their side all the way through the legislative session. I do not accept donations from corporate PACs -- and I cannot accept donations after December 13th due to a law that prohibits me from fundraising during the legislative session.

Washington doesn't need a pro-NRA attorney general who makes excuses for the president and powerful interests that don't play by the rules. So I need you and the rest of our grassroots network to help us fight back against him and the dark money he will pour into this race.

I am grateful to have you on my side. But we must prepare for the fundraising freeze by raising enough now to combat the inevitable flood of corporate PAC and special interest dollars that will be spent against me. We can't miss any goals. That's why I need you to donate to help us close the $938 gap in our daily fundraising. Can you help us reach this important goal by donating just $1 today?

Thank you for your support,
